I, respectfully, disagree. Not with your reasoning, but with the idea of telling Black people how to react to anything in this country. For many Black people, this will not change anything for them and we are allowed to feel however we want about it because if there is one thing white supremacist patriarchal capitalism loves to tell us, it's how we're supposed to react, especially when we've been fed a steady diet of the okeydoke for our entire lives.

All that means is that you can be proud but other Black people have the right to think it's irrelevant, because for them, it may be as very little of this will trickle down to improve their lives.
